I have discontinued availability of this module due to lack of interest.

Is the Automatic Unlock after Shutdown module compatible with Coastal's Automatic Door Lock kit?

Can you lock the keys in the car with this module?

If you use the optional "auto lock at startup" feature, then it is theoretically possible, but very, very difficult. You would have to start the car, then immediately jump out and shut the door very, very quickly.

If you only use the "auto unlock at shutdown" feature, then it is not possible to accidentally lock your keys in the car.

The best way to lock your keys in the car is to shut the car down, place the keys on the seat, click the door lock button on the armrest, and shut the door.

That's too bad. I was planning to get the auto unlock function, but have been away from the forum for over a month for various reasons. We already have the Coastal auto lock kit and my wife gets irritated when she is in the back seat and the door won't open.

Sorry, raf, I had to give up on this. I put in way too much time and effort for so few actual orders. There are only two cars that actually have this mod, mine and one person who bought the module.

I've concluded that most of the folks who complained about the problem wanted a free solution, like a reprogramming trick, rather than something that costs money.

I do have a few left, let me know if you still want one.

I never even knew about it and now it's already gone. Do you still have some left? If so, give me some details and I may take one.

I sent you a private message about this a couple of days ago. Did you see it?

I don't think this is possible. If you click lock while any door is open, I think it locks it, then quickly notices that something is open, then unlocks them again quickly.
