Basic (stupid) tire question, but I want to know beforehand

How easily will 4 tires fit in the back of the prius?
I have already purchased my snow tires, I am just trying to figure out if I need someone with a truck to meet me down there to pick up my tires or if my OE tires and wheels will fit in the prius ok.

I know I will need to fold down the seats etc, just trying to save myself the trouble of taking out the car seat and prepping everything if they won't actually fit in the back.
    Thanks everyone.

It should easily fit four tires when you have your seats folded. I just did that a month ago when I asked America's Tire to put four 17 inch tires in bags for me to take home. Heck, if you don't want to fold your seats, then you could put two in the back seat and two behind.

Thank you TsKarma, I assumed they would fit but I just wanted to confirm with someone who has.
I have a huge convertible car seat so I will have to pull it more than likely, no huge deal, I just didn't want to waste the time if it wouldn't fit.
    Thanks again!

I bet you can fit 8 tires in the back of the Prius with the seats down

Bring some old blankets (and/or a tarp), just for insurance. Even though tire places typically bag the tires, if it happens to be wet the bag might end up with some dirty water sloshing around, might escape.

Oh for sure on the blankets, I am pretty anal about the inside of my cars, that was the other reason I asked if there was plenty of room.
I didn't want them to have to force them in there.
    Thanks for the tips everyone!

Bring plastic sheeting, water will go through a blanket, protect your inside, plastic sheet or bag, it's your car!

PS, there are no "Stupid" questions, it's just stupid not too ask them.
When in doubt, shout it out!

I agree with Judgeless and my buddy KK6PD.

I recently fit 4 17" wheels in boxes plus 4 tires (in bags) in my Prius and had plenty of room to spare. Just be sure to bag the items and bring a blanket to avoid scratching the interior or leaving marks. Do not let the tires touch the windows if you are tinted!

I didn't see the stupid part of your question. How could I have missed it?
