Hi all, I read something online and wanted to verify it with you. It's about battery conditioning for maintenance. The webpage says battery conditioning every 60,000 to 80,000 is recommended to stop battery degradation from impacting fuel economy. But it says it costs "as little as $1,500" which sounds like a lot to me for a recurring expense. Anyone ever done this? Is it really necessary? I've seen battery prolonging chargers online for like $250ish that are supposed to maintain a healthy battery by using it every few weeks. That sounds more reasonable to me (once again, if it actually helps).
