Most of the local Toyota dealers seem to have them. I got mine at Sunnyvale Toyota.

    Hi,

I'm in Mountain View. My favorite car wash is to do it myself at home. Biggest Prius sighting is six in one day, although I can easily park next to 3 or 4 other Prii in the Piazza's supermarket parking lot in Palo Alto.

    Hi,
I am in Martinez and have a silver one. I work at EBMUD where we now have about 50 Prius's total including classics and 04s.

    I have my hand up.

I just picked up me 04 White Package 9 Prius on Saturday evening. I live in Benicia and work in San Lorenzo. Would like to find out when we can all get together and take a group photo and post it. I was on the "waiting list" for a total of three days. Bought mine in Vacaville.

I have my hand up too

I have rebuilt my 2002 Aqua from salvage (bought on eBay) and I live in Sunnyvale. At the first Prius meet, we were the only with Classic Prius.
Most workdays the Prius stays in the garage as I like to commute by bicycle.

    Another hand

I just ordered mine from Capitol Toyota in San Jose. Any experience?

I commute from San Jose to San Francisco everyday. I can't wait to get my Prius.

My max Prius sightings on I-280 is 9, one way. Lots of Prii in the Bay Area!

This past saturday we spotted 22 Prii in just the afternoon! There were 17 in the first hour alone.

All were in the Mountain View/Palo Alto California area.

    Woohoo.

Heh. One of them may have been me! I live in Mountain View.

I work as a network geek at a little place called Equinix. If you see me in my Prius, I'm probably on Hwy 101 commuting to/from my Foster City office. Give me a wave!

I'd love it if I can use the HOV lane even when I'm not carpooling.

I live in CAmpbell and my office is in Campbell also. I did go over 17 a couple of times and it was fun and it did bump my mileage up. By the way, my Prius keeps resetting the average every time I fill it up. Any suggestions?

My prius is only one week old and I am looking for heatshield and other accessories too.

I will be happy to attend a gathering too. I saw 3 prii one day last week excluding my own.

Congrats on being a new Prius owner.

Unfortunetly there is nothing you can do about the average resetting. It's designed to do that. Best thing to do ( if you have Nav ) is to put your average down in your calender. So, when you want, you can pull the numbers up to figure your running average. I used to do this, but started to fill up once a week and stopped putting the numbers in. oops. hehe

I'll be looking forward to seeing you and your Prius at our next gathering ( if you can attend ) We have not decided a date yet. While talking to a few people, i got the impression that SF would be a good place for our next meet. I'll make a post about it.

You know where to find accessories? If not, PM me or Email me. I check both very frequently.

BTW. 17 is a blast in the prius. Fun Fun Fun

Welcome KayEllen, happy to have you join our group.

Get your heatshield right here at the PriusChat store. The other accessory I recommend that you get right away is a clear bra, before you get any chips on the aerodynamic nose. The place that did mine is from Clear Armor, ClearArmorInc.com in Mountain View, they did a great job for me.

As for the resetting, the Prius will automatically reset any time you put in at least 2.5 gallons.

    See you soon :)

Just got mine a month ago.

    Biggest Prius sighting: 7

Four in the parking lot of the Sunnyvale Fry's Electronics and three at the library. Does this say anything about the people who drive a Prius?

How many KQED stickers can you count on a Prius?

I'm not sure i've ever seen a KQED sticker on a prius.

I think i've set a new record on prius sighting. Maybe i should bring a counter with me. I think anywhere from 30 to 50 a day. Some days, i may see more.. actualy.. i'm sure i do.. i don't point and go "oooo" anymore.. hehe well.. in my mind i always will.. lol.. they tend to start blending in now.

Oh my goodness, what holey place has everyone been living in? Is it me or isn't there more than a dozen Prii sitings a day? Well i'm living in Tree-Hugger Meca (Berkeley, CA) and i see at the minimum 10-15 Prii a day. We're all over! My trip down from my house alone (I live in the hills) i see atleast 4-5 Prii parked on the side of the road. Oh my commute is 1 1/2 hours everyday down to Mountain View. Heh, I'm loving the HOV stickerS!!!

Heh, one funny occasion is when i stopped at a redlight of a two lane (each way) road and had 3 other Prii join me. LOL (1 Black, 1 Red, & 2 Blues (inclusive of my own))

Well i'm not quite sure about car washes, but i'd be down to goto any PC meetups! Do drop me a PM or something :)
