The emblems are chrome black and I'm looking for shiny black, no chrome color at all. (I just want to be different). ZC1
Wow, the emblems look quite nice (better than a Black Pearl emblem kit). I don't like the way it's packaged (esp. for 04/05 owners where we would want the HSD emblem to complete the rear look but not necessarily the side HYBRID emblems). Also, yeah it's a bit more that what I would pay for a set of emblems. The rest of the items don't interest me.
i'd flip over black chrome emblems... $139 is a bit pricey for my pocketbook right now though. i think you should reconsider the packages for those. the 04/05 owners would probably want a package 2 minus the hybrid emblems. no sense in replacing all the emblems except one.
jeezz..650 bucks for tinted tails..I am 100% sure I know a guy that will do tinted tails group buy..he did mine on my wifes edge. we got 5 people confirmed they would buy a set of core tail lights, we each paid a 50 core fee to him, he bought a new set of lights, tinted them and sent them out..the person got them and sent the cores back, upon him receiving the cores back he refunded the 50 core fee.. maybe I should make a post to see how many people maybe interested in a set.

Does it look only tinted tails to you? Cos' it looks like all chrome inside the tail lights is now made into Black Chrome too. But I don't know if the clear lens is also tinted or not...
Areometer's black chrome taillight is not the same as tinted or blacked out taillights. There is still clear plastic over it. It's a pretty good idea. Get the dark-look while retaining a lot more light than a full tint taillight.
even so..not worth anywhere close to 600+ dollars.. are they even OEM? everyone knows after market tails are junk.
. WHERE / HOW CAN I DO THIS??? Also, anyone recommend night shades for tail lights? VHT's Nite Shades coating is a transparent black taillight lens coating for creating a custom look. When applied to taillights, fog lights, or turn indicators, VHT Nite Shades appears black--until the lights are lit. Then the natural color appears; red, in the case of taillights. .
