Situation...using the hands-free bluetooth in the phone and the conversation reaches a point where I don't want the kids in the back seat to hear. Any way I can switch back to my phone without disconnecting the call? Thanks.

On your phone there should be an option to transfer audio back to the phone. On mine, I have a choice of transferring to the earpiece or the phone's speaker. I believe the Prius also has this option in the Bluetooth settings, but I'm pretty sure you have to be stopped in order to access it.

On my phone I think if I kill the BT connection somehow, it will automatically switch to regular handheld use without dropping the call. You';ll have to decide whether this is easy enough to do on the phone in a moving car, or stop the car and use the Prius MFD to break the BT connection.
