BMW Hydrogen 7 tests below SULEV levels

    Argonne, Illinois – Independent tests conducted by engineers at the U.S. Department of Energy’s Argonne National Laboratory on a BMW Hydrogen 7 Mono-Fuel demonstration vehicle have found that the car surpasses the super-ultra low-emission vehicle (SULEV) level, the most stringent emissions standard to date.

    Keep in mind that it's an H2 ICE not a fuel cell.

    Also I thought PZEV is the most stringent (even though it's a sub-category of SULEV)

    Well, given that it's a H2 ICE, the only thing you really have to worry about is NOx. If you can find enough of the stuff to burn it's a pretty decent motor fuel.
