Hey boston... When are we going to meet up?

looks like we're shooting for April 6th at the Larz Anderson. Let's meet at the parking lot closest to the Carraige House... 11AM... sound good?

It's a little bit of a stretch for me because my schedule is getting tight... the following week would be better for me, but I don't want to throw a wrench in the works if the 6th is better for everyone else.

Sun., April 6th, 11AM at Larz looks good for me right now too!

Let's keep it on the date that it's planned, and then we can do another one the next month if that's OK.

what do you think about doing some grilling? there's picnic areas there too.

I'm good for Apr 6 too. By "closest to the carriage house", do
you mean the lot slightly up the hill from it? I think the lot
right outside the upper [main] museum level is restricted to
their own people. And trust me, you don't want to get on the
wrong side of Elln who is their usual public face.

There wasn't a Boston forum until quite recently... I always figured the NE one was enough though, since the only part of NE that really matters much is Boston.

Do the picnic areas there have built-in grills? Or would someone need to bring one?

i'm planning to stop by there on my way home from work tomorrow (around 430-5. I'll snap a few pics and we can decide where to meet...

I went and checked it out today and I'm thinking that it'll be best to meet at the second parking lot on the left as you're driving up the hill. The lot on the top of the hill is definitely the most popular and even today on Easter Sunday there were 6 other cars parked there. The large arrow (i think it's purple or blue (colorblind)) marks the second parking lot.

EBH is Engine Block Heater. If Hobbit's coming, he's the one to beg for technical help.

I'll most likely be there, but I'll have to bring my 10 month-old baby with me because SWMBO is away that day.

LOOK forward to meeting all of you this Sunday. Just a question on where the parking lot is.. Is it right after the museum on the right? Or do you go into the entrance way of the museum on the grounds. Not sure where exactly to meet. I have been there in the past but we park on the grass for our antique car meets...

Did you see Martin's map? It's the lot slightly above the
carriage-house, on the slant, before you get up to the top
of the hill. I almost think the top of the hill would be
better but I could see that easily getting parked up sooner.
However, it's easy enough to walk up to the pavilion and get
a nice view off toward Boston.

I and my miscellaneous diagnostic gear are in! The car's still
got winter filth all over it and the weather for the rest of
the week isn't going to be conducive to dealing with it, but
that's okay..

So, just to confirm, we're talking Sun 6-Apr-2008 at 11:00 AM,
right? We could adjourn to somewhere out rt. 9, say, for a late
lunch later on, and/or pack stuff in. If there's anything left
on the grocery shelves by then, that is.
