   I assume you would never drive a 4x4 with the spare tyre on the back then?
   Or any sports car,
   or any station wagon,
   or any ute
   or any truck
   or any car with wedge profile.
   Due diligence and the car is very safe, the problem is drivers who don't pay full attention. There are 3 mirrors and you can turn your head to check the blind spot, if not I suggest you take a cab.
