How have your fabric held up?

Are they susceptible to staining from denim clothing (particularly leather seats) or other types of clothing that release dye? Do they get black (or dark) easily?

    TIA!

Nope so far. I've also have ivory, which is the beige counterpart of Misty Gray, in the Lexus and no staining either.

Keep it well conditioned with Zaino Leather in a Bottle (love this stuff) and it'll hold up really well. IMO, Misty Gray is the best interior color for the Prius especially with the sporty two-tone look and matching dark gray floor mats.

No issues here with the leather. Six weeks, and so far so good.

I did have the Ivory leather in my Highlander Hybrid, and there was some color transfer from a belt I usually wear to work, so I'll be keeping a lookout for that.

Requested dark grey and through mis-communication ended up with Misty. Re dye release, I've concluded that with a lighter color that's more resistant to heat, it's less likely to occur. No problems yet after 3 weeks in hot temps. Good news, I think, is that lighter color shows fewer scratches. All in all, taking into account cabin heat, etc, I'm happy with it, even if I didn't choose it.

I love the look of Misty Grey but I just remembered that lighter colours (particularly white or light grey) will show stains and dyes. We have a beige '05 but it's cloth.

Have had mine for 6 weeks also. I didn't want the misty grey, but I'm learning to live with it. I conditioned the leather and scotchguarded the carpets before I used the car. I have been pleased so far with the color. Yeah, it's light, but it does have its advantages.

First, it does stay cooler as grahamy pointed out. It also makes it easier to see any staining or spills, giving you the opportunity to clean it sooner.

Since I haven't seen the dark grey interior I can't comment on the multi-tone grey that I've read about. The misty grey with dark grey scattered throughout the car (& the dark grey all weather car mats) looks really balanced.

My only beef is that the cargo mat is black, not misty or even dark grey. I have been keeping the toneau cover out to keep the black from absorbing any more heat from the sun.

    Hope this helps.

That's definitely not standard, so you must have dealer-installed or port-installed mat(s). Misty Gray, Dark Gray and Bisque all come with light gray (not to be confused with Misty Gray) carpeted cargo mat.

32kcolors, I have the all-weather, which were port installed (backwards). I have to assume by your comment that the carpeted are different colors.

    Tideland -

This is my first light grey interior, and I am loving it. With my tinted windows and the light colored leather seats, I never find the seats uncomfortable hot after leaving the Prius out in the sun. Also, the interior is a breeze to keep clean. Overall, I am would rate the Misty Grey a perfect 10.

    Thanks everyone!

I bought the car today and unforunately, it's a dark grey interior. I had a choice btwn Dark Grey (Aug delivery) or Misty Grey (Sept. Delivery) and I know it's only a month more but I have a vacation planned that week so it'll be nice to have the vehicle beforehand so I chose dark grey. It was a back up colour anyway so I don't think I'll regret the decision.
