An article I liked, detailed some of the technology (which may be out there, but I haven't read about), and the features of the Escape Hybrid. Also have some Prius related comments in there, but not sure if all are completely accurate. Also explained why SUVs should be hybridized, even the Hummer (!). Even though the Escape is a SUV hybrid, which some don't like, if the attitude of this article rubs off, we may have more people thinking along the lines of lower emissions and higher fuel efficiency, and push the need for more hybrids.
