This should be a short thread...:)

Any of you who own a Canadian 2010 Prius:
On which side of the steering wheel is your headlight stalk?

A dealer parts tech showed me a parts diagram that he claimed was for Canada, indicating that the headlight switch (stalk) for the Canada version is on the RIGHT side of the steering wheel. This seemed strange to me, since the TIS repair documentation always shows it on the left.

There is a thread in another area having to do with Automatic on/off headlights, which are not available in the US, and the question is whether the Canada stalk could be installed on a US model. Obviously not, if they are on different sides.

    Thanks!

    Hi Jayvee,
The headlight stalk is on the left. Also, I have the automatic on/off headlights. You can adjust the headlight shutoff delay (after powering off the car) in one of the settings as well.

Thanks Brucester! It appears my dealer's parts tech doesn't understand the parts diagram system......

Could even be worse that that. He might not know his left from his right.:p

Don't know why but this made me think of something a friend of mine, who is a plumber, told me once. I asked him if he liked being a plumber. He said it was great because you only had to know three things.

    1. Hot on the left.

    2. Cold on the right.

    3. Sh*t won't flow uphill.
