Car feeling floaty, squeaks a bit over bumps, new strut suggestions?

    Recently, I've felt my prius feeling a bit like I'm not as in control as I used to be. Also, it squeaks when I go over bumps and if I stand on the rear door way and jump up/down.

    I'm thinking that I need new struts. I have 99,050 miles on it, and it seems like they might have gone out by now from what other people say. If it is that I need new struts, does anyone have suggestions for new struts?

    A reasonable conclusion. Your two main choices are Toyota-branded parts manufactured by KYB; and KYB-branded parts. I would suggest that you purchase whatever is less expensive. Check pricing at some of the Toyota dealers that sell discounted parts over the web, such as AutoNation Toyota Gulf Freeway Parts | Toyota Parts Online - Genuine OEM Toyota Parts and Accessories - Houston, Texas
