Im trying to find a way to mount an cell phone docking station in the space just to the right off the radio (serious button) I bought double sided tape that says it holds up to 100 lbs but it falls off after a while. Anyone else have some suggestions? I pretty sure glue would work but am afraid to mess up the dash area.
Look up 3M Dual Lock. Clean up the surface before applying. It's not going anywhere, even in the heat.
Check this thread for info on mounting the Scangauge using 3M Dual Lock. This is the heavy duty plastic mounting system used to attach toll transponders to windshields - I used it to mount a Scangauge behind the wheel in my C, and it's holding up well.
