I just got a 2008 Base model ("magnetic gray" I believe it's called), but in the near future I'd like to make some upgrades, like a stereo that reads .mp3 and .wma files and an aux jack, and possibly an EV button.

Ultimately, I'd like to do a PHEV conversion, but that will have to wait until my wife wins the lottery.

Wait... she's got to buy lottery tickets?

I wanted pkg 2 for the stereo, but there was this basic and a touring (way too much!) available, so we got the basic.

If I'm lucky, maybe one of the people on these forums who have replaced their fancy JBLs will sell me their stuff and I can upgrade for less than $550. ;)

Very hot and very dry. If you have a little spare rain we could use a little of it. Been too hot to get the motorbike out the shed, that's tragic!

Hey, at least it isn't snowing and stupid cold. Cold here is never much under 0 celsius for the days minimum and the maximum is almost never in single digits. Nearest we get to snow is soft hail.

Might have a swim in the pool soon.:D

I'd love to give you some, but I live in a veritable desert and the rain we are getting now has to last us the entire year. :(

    Add another welcome from Australia.

Having been to both Adelaide and the valley, I would have to say that the valley is a lot drier that Adelaide. Pat, to give you an idea of what it is like - closer to Port Augusta, without the trees.

Thank you. I've not been to Adelaide, but I have been to Sydney a couple times... love the museums there.

Anyone who happens to find themselves in Sydney should really find the opalized fossil there-- totally awesome!
