After a flat tire on my 2007 I removed the tire without removing the wheel cover. Human muscles don't compete well with the power tools used at either manufacturer's or repair garages, so using the oem lug wrench was a real struggle. I managed to get the lugs removed but first chance I got I replaced with a longer handled, greater leveraged lug wrench. Works just fine on the 2007 without removing the wheel cover. Now I also have a 2010 so I thought I would purchase the same lug wrench for this one. Guess what - can't get the new lug wrench on the tire without removing the wheel cover. I tried a few others with the same failure. I have not yet tried the oem to see if that one fit through the wheel covers. Anyone else tried yet?

Why bother, simply pop/pry the plastic cover off. I did and then used a regular socket set to remove the wheel. I really don't like those tire irons.
