Charging Station Etiquette - Sharing :)

$3 per hour x 1.5 hours to recharge a 2012 Prius PHV (round up to 2 hours?). The EV range is at best 15 miles. So we save (15/50 MPG=0.3 Gallons of gas). It cost $6 to save 0.3 Gal of gas, or $6 divided by 0.3 = $18 a gallon. Let's take the "better" parking spot, $.85 x 2 = $1.70 divided by 0.3 = $5.66 per gallon. EV is French for money pit. Leave those pay EV parking spots for poor out-of-range Leafs, plug-in the Prius PHV at home or free stations, and use the HOV lanes anyway.
