    Congratulations to the Redmond Eagles for winning the Northwest regionals of the Little League World Series. (well they haven't won yet, but are leading 6-3 in the bottom of the 6th; the last inning barring a tie)

    Dave You are really slipping. I can't believe I am beating you to this. These local kids won the whole thing. The world series. Given the Mariners performance we may be waiting a bit for the national championship in the big show. The Kids did good. I saw parts of the last game. Good ball. Baseball is life.

    actually i thought it was the dominican republic...

    redmond finished 5th i believe... still good considering the 85,000 teams that competed.

    well what they might have said is that any of the teams that made it to Williamsport is a winner in anyones book and i would have to agree.
