Connecting PiP OEM battery in Parallel, any thoughts on that ?

    After looking into this PiP battery cutout picture, it looks like the packaging is so neat,
    If the price makes sense to connect these two in parallel to double the battery power is not too bad.
    Has anybody explored this path ?.

    How would you cool it? You'd also need to tell the battery ECU (and maybe others) about the extra capacity.

    the pip charger limits the current draw, the added batteries just double the charging time

    "2012 Prius approximately cost about $3300 to replace it" per email from my 'Sales Guy' who sold me PiP.
    Cooling the battery should be build into the battery, if not, its some sort of hurdle.
    Getting a right techie to do this work is another sort of hurdle.
