crazy Arabs drifting mostly Honda Accords

    This board probably doesn't have quite the right audience for this type of stuff, but hey, a few might like it... I'm surprised they're using a (FWD) Accord for a lot of this. Generally RWD cars are preferred for drifting. I wonder if Honda engineers shudder when they see Accords being thru this kind of abuse.

    I've seen them drift Camrys and ES330s so it's nothing new...

    They have highways that are a few lanes wide with little traffic so they can do this sort of thing.

    Do they do this with stock cars? The reason I ask is that it seems like there isn't much body roll at all in these videos. Really shows the benefit of the newer suspensions ...

    The irony of a song titled "Freedom" playing to this is just mind boggling...)

    But I really dont get why anyone would want to do this, it seems like a GREAT way to ruin a perfectly good car... or why anyone would stand so close to that... it looked like some of those cars were going to plow right into that crowd watching on the side of the road... idiots...

    i dont think you should judge them. there are professional people who do this, and it is something entertaining to do. If they like it, why shouldn't they do it?

    It looks like the roads are pretty dusty, so it's probably easier to "drift" there. I say "drift" cause it looks like he's just playing around

    Professional?!?!? Did you watch that video? Professional???

    Professionals would not drive like that on STREETS. They would not drive like that INTO CROWDS OF PEOPLE. These were not professionals. They were bored kids with toys, which happened to be cars. They were irresponsible, dangerous, and IMHO acting like idiots.

    Responsible drivers drifting on a closed course? That's a different story.

    lol you completely misinterpreted. i meant in drifting there are professionals and that people shouldn't be so quick to judge those who enjoy doing so, so please calm down. and also, how perfectly sure are you that this wasn't closed off. I don't see random cars in their way.

    It sure didn't seem closed off to me. In many shots there were cars and trucks in motion all around them which weren't drifting.
