On a full tank of gas, the cruising range displayed by the PIP is about 500 miles.

What I don't understand is why, after driving a few days in EV mode (and without the ICE kicking in) this number slowly but steadily decreases.

    Any thoughts?

Thanks. Perhaps I'm somehow failing to account for that. I'll pay more attention and report back if the problem is something other than my misreading of the information.

sounds good. it shouldn't be dropping down more than the charge takes you, and should go back up when you recharge.

better idea…just ignore that number, it's pretty bogus. like it will display 0 even before the low fuel light is blinking, even though you still have ~2 gallons of gas after that.
