Curious Noise When Opening Door

Has anybody else noticed a noise that begins upon opening the passenger door? It lasts for about ten seconds then stops. Is it by chance a battery ventilation fan or something related? Just curious.

brake accumulator. it's in your manual.

None of my passenger doors trigger the brake accumulator. Only the driver door does that.

I originally meant to say driver's door.

in the pip manual, pg.42, under 'plug in hybrid system', section 1-1 'before driving', 'sounds and vibrations specific to a hybrid vehicle', 'the brake system operation sound heard from the front of the vehicle when the driver's door is opened'.

It's like a buzzing nose? Lasts like 5 seconds if that. I believe is normal.

Is it the same noise if you pump the brake pedal a few times?

I think so. It makes the same noise when I enter it too and when I leave.
