Carmine needed to make a few round trips, 93 miles one way, not to mention puttering around in between. Finally down to the last pip on the fuel gauge, stopped at a station.

Put in 9.399 gallons... whoa that was close! Only holds 10 gallons, right? Geesh, I'm lucky I didn't get stuck!

The Gen 2 in North America has a flexible bladder in a 11.9 gallon steel tank. The actual size of the bladder depends on how it folds and unfolds and how flexible it is. It seems to be gallons larger on hot days. In Mississippi, in summer, in the afternoon, I once got 10.5 gallons in my Gen 2. It was 160 miles before the first pip disappeared. In winter, it can take as little as 40 miles for the first pip to be gone.
