I will try to put these on ASAP unfortunately I'm not a DIY, pretty clueless, single parent mom, so never learn the dad and son thing to learn to be DIY hell I don’t even have a tool box in my apartment (sounds like a personal problem) but when I get funds or if someone wants to give me a hand =) I’ll put all these together.







So I plan to repaint the JDM Side mirrors to the Lexus Obsidian Pearl

I bet you are so excited to get the parts on!

If you were closer I would offer to help. We could knock those out in a couple of hours easily.

The write up by 32Kcolors explains the process for the rear light very well. Don,t sweat the whole not being a DIYer. I grew up without a dad and had to learn everything on my own after I moved out. It's tough being a 19yr old guy and not knowing how to fix things. Eventually you figure things out. I suggest starting with a nice small tool box like Harbor Freight carries. $50 and you have almost everything you need for small jobs. Then just Google search anything that breaks or annoys you. There are so many how to fix type websites and YouTube videos out there that can almost do everything yourself nowadays!

My schedule is crazy, but I will have more time after my semester ends at end of May. You're local, so you can always swing by for the taillamp install. I'm not electronically savvy, so I don't think you'll want me to help with you those illuminated sills. =)

You can do it! Rick did a nice "How to" write up on them a few years ago. We can help walk you through it otherwise.

So they'll be black? That'll look cool with your black theme.

Nice bunch of toys u got there, what to do 1st sounds like the toughest decision.

As soon as I find a good Autobody to paint my JDM Side Mirrors to Lexus Obsidian Pearl, I will put these bad boys on.

I trust the turn signals aren't actually as yellow as they look in the photo. The 3rd brake light looks perfect.

Its the lighting, looks just like the brake light. The same tint sheet was used for both.

I lost my pops when I was 21. Talk about getting thrown into the real, real world fast. So many things that I never got to learn or experience. It's strange, because I ended up going through some things so much faster than someone my age should have, and other things got way delayed.

I think you've done pretty well, though. You are right, with the internet and YouTube, someone can find out so much stuff in an instant.

I still believe that none of what we are doing as far as mods go is rocket science. The biggest problem is being worried about the unknown, and getting the cojones to do the first step once you have all the information you need.

What would be a better fit for my LED Lights

Leave the mirrors and spend the money to have them installed.

Bino's BP looks great with carbon fiber mirror covers and I think yours will too if painted in black pearl.
