For the GenIII...has anybody noticed that the switch on the drivers side that controls the mirrors is not illuminated at night, with the headlights on? The switch that turns of the fan for the solar-cell cooling of the interior of the car is illuminated at night, but no other switch in that section of the dash (lower dash, to the left of the steering column) is back-lit at night. All other lights seem to work fine. Just wondering if this is normal, or whether a bulb is burnt out? Never noticed before, but now that it's dark when I drive home, I noticed it's not on. Thanks

Oops, I missed that thread. Thanks.

For anybody tuning in...the answer is no, it is NOT illuminated (as with most Toyota cars...for some strange reason).
