The dash removal is pretty complex task. To remove the upper or lower dash you will need to remove generally every sub-panel you see, just from my memory - center console, start-stop, side air vents, A pillars, side doors scuffs , side, inner defrosters and etc. panels.
EDIT: sorry, I overlooked that question is inside prius C section.
The easiest way to cover this job is to login to:

    Toyota Service Information

and download the instructions from Repair manual - section INTERIOR PANELS / TRIM.

Does anyone out there who has access to Toyota's system know how much those plastic pieces cost? I might like to swap mine out for black ones but I don't want to pay $15 or whatever it is just to look at what the prices are.

TIS doesn't have pricing.. it has maintenance, TSBs, wiring, and repair manuals.

So how would one go about finding that information? Just going to a dealership and asking? I can't find any parts stores online that list the C.

Hi, I know this post was a long time ago, but how easy peezy is it?! Do you just use a (plastic) flat screwdriver to prop the pieces out?
