Dashboard dust collector

    Anyone having problems with dust collecting on the dashboard. Seems like i'm cleaning mine daily.

    I cultivate that patina of dust. After a year or so, it greatly reduces the glare in the windshield from the top of the dash. Previiously, I ha bought one of those fitted carpet things at Costco, but, well-tailored as it was, the nap was even worse than the bare clean dashboard for creating windshield glare. Grunge is the real answer!

    I think the dust is everywhere but it is most visible at the dashboard where you look at all the time. :)

    My theory is that the v's smooth hard dash just makes dust visible. It's probably present in most cars, but a textured dash would hide it better?

    I don't have a problem with dust on my dash because I clean the inside/outside of the car once a week. Maybe you should do the same. Spend 30 minutes a week giving your Prius a cleaning.
