A friend of mine gave me this address and told me to check it out. I'm no gearhead or even slightly mechanically inclined. So I'll throw it out to you all and see what you make of it.

A corporate site with "AMAZING ISN'T IT." prominently featured on
what's supposed to be a technical page definitely tickles my

Sure looks complicated. Not sure that's the right direction to go with a new engine design.

The thing I always liked about the Wankel is how simple it is. It's a really good engine, too, in the latest Mazda incarnations. They licked the emissions and reliablility problems.

I'd like to see a Wankel-powered hybrid someday. The Wankel would be a good complement to the electric motor/generator in the same way as the Atkinson cycle engines -- they both suck at low-end torque. But when pulling at high RPM, there's nothing better than a Wankel.

Agreed! My bullsh*t filter kicked in too. Need a lot more details and real videos to convince me its real, then more to convince me its better.
