I ordered a Salsa Red Package 6 (the old package 9) on July 21, 2004 and I pick it up at 6:30 tonight EXACTLY 7 months to the day. Now I have the New Prius and my wife has the old one (2004).
Congrats on finally getting the new 2005. I found the documents on this site most helpful on what to look for, you should take them if can print them off on taking the new Prius and the inspection/delivery docs. I like the Salsa too, that is what I ordered. 8)
Reminds me of when I picked up my '04. Dealer called me on a Monday to say that it would be ready to pick-up that evening. I told him that I was really busy and the earliest I could make it out was a Wednesday. Actually was good though - by the time I made it out, I was totally relaxed and in a good mood. Nice easy transaction, low stress, etc. A very nice car-buying experience. Dave.
