Disable Horn Beep?

I've about given up trying to find out how to do this. I'm about ready to take a pair of diagonal cutters to the horn wires. Maybe someone can help me.

When I get out of my car, close the driver's door, not locking it, and go around to the back and open the hatchback, the horn beeps once. I REALLY don't like that because my neighbors live close and I don't wish to disturb them late at night/early in the morning. Is there a way to disable the horn beep? The lock/unlock soft beep is not a problem. I only object to the loud horn beep.

I do not get that horn beep when opening the rear hatch of my 2007 Package #2.

I don't get that beep on my 2005 either. I'd take it to the dealer and let them hear it.

I have a brand new 2008 and there is no horn beep when I open the trunk, I think you should definately call the dealer, they need to look at this..

No horn beep on my 2008 package #6 either, may be a bug!

I rarely lock my car in the garage, and opening the hatch makes no horn beep either....just a hatch-open light on the dash.

Check in with the dealer, maybe there's something need to be reprogrammed.
