Sounds like a downgrade, why throw out reliability?

Even at 250rpm, the FE would be far worse.

Fuel economy will tank for sure. On top of that, you'll need a mechanical transmission, starter, alternator, belt, etc.. Yuck!

Hey Priuspetey; your new here with only two posts and already you have found out how "wild & crazy" fun these jokesters here at Prius chat can be. Besides the LS3 is just too big; I'm thinking Northstar!

I hope not. I am not a big fan of GM technology. Can not wait to get rid of my 96 Lumina. It has caused me way too many issues over the years.

Also, I feel there is nothing wrong with the HP in the 2010 prius. So, why mess with something that is already a good thing.
