Does it really matter which air filters (cabin & engine) we use?

Like the title says I'm looking at different air filters on Amazon and they vary wildly in price.

Is there really much difference between them because I can get them for seven or eight dollars versus 15 to up to $50.

I want to get a few things while I'm at it, and take advantage of Prime shipping. Engine & cabin air filters, LED light replacements for the dome and other lights, and possibly other accessories as well.

What is the consensus on this? Thanks!

no one really knows. i like the oem's, especially the charcoal cabin filter. you change them so rarely, it's not much money over the life of the car. others will use kleenex if it's cheap enough.:D
