Does the Prius C have an air filter for the fuel system?

    My old car used to have an air filter that was located on top of the carborator. I assume the Prius C has a fuel injection system. Is there an air filter with this kind of fuel system? If so, where do I look under the hood to find it? How often should it be replaced?

    there should be a squarish black box with clasps on the sides. the filter is inside. check your owners manual.

    This information can be found in your owners manual, complete with drawings and descriptions.

    In the photo presented, the box directly to the right of the yellow ring (oil level dip stick) contains the air filter. There are easily removable clips holding it down in the front, and tabs that go into holes in the back

    All cars have air filters. At least if they want to keep running they do.

    Thank you for answering my questions. The thread posted "The box to the right of the yellow ring dip stick" allowed me to find the air filter easily.
