Earliest Deliveries: I'll start with 10/25/03

    We flat lucked out.

    Watche the Classic models and talked to owners for two years. Finally decided to buy one.

    Started looking at TRAC cars on the 20th of Oct '03, Test drove a TRAC car late Saturday morning the 25th, came back from the drive to see the car sitting in "New Car Prep" with all the transparent fil eveywhere on it.

    Kinda Purty, it was all platiqued up; Driftwood Pearl AM-7+ extras (we wanted Tideland with just the rear wiper - we are so-o-o-o-o cheap!). Asked if we could drive it, saleman said, "sure".

    Drove it. Loved it. Got back from the test drive, we both gulped, said "we'll take it: and paid the extra $ 2,300.00. They waived the extra sticker - $ 1,900.00.

    Drove it off the lot Saturday eveing and never looked back.

    Flat-ass just love this car.

    somebody MUST have gotten their car before we did; how about your story?

    I picked mine up 10/25/2003 as well from Carson Toyota.

    I picked up Jennifer Hartman's (from the YG) at Carson Toyota on 10/16/2003 however. She was to be out of town delivering her Classic to her sister, so she let me pick it up and drive it for 4 days for review purposes. Little did I know that mine would arrive the next weekend.

    I got to drive one even earlier than that (early Oct '03) when Dianne had Dave Hermance's Prius for a couple of days and she took it down to Laguna Beach.

    Gosh, fellas, I feel really bad the you STILL HAVEN'T TAKEN DELIVERY YET!!!!!!

    Oops! I think I'd better go out to the heated garage and talk to Ms. Driftwood Pearl for a while...
