A Turkey Vulture hopped in front of me today leading to the discovery of a fast method for removing the dome light lenses. Not ideal, but if anyone has difficulty removing the lens they can aim for slow moving birds. Obviously I would have chosen a low hanging limb so as not to hurt a bird, but this situation just presented itself.

320k and out of commission until the glass guy can come.

Although you have a shattered windshield/windscreen, you have a couple of reasons to be thankful.
1 It didn't remove your head.
2 It didn't strike the roof line of the car.
    Glad you're ok!

Just to give everyone an idea the size of these birds, I snapped these pictures in my back yard a while back. Given the car had enough speed, it would have been like hitting a deer. image.jpg
