Enginer PHEV Test Pilots: Mpg reports and important data

Hey Everyone,

I got about 176-180 charges on my kit. It still works, but I think the battery is already reached its maximum charging cycle. I checked the batteries individually, and they seem to be find, registering 3 volts or higher. I did it twice to double check--might do it again a third time. So, how many charges do you have on your kit before the battery faded? Thanks.

What are the exact voltage of the cells after a full charge and a resting period (so the cells can settle).

Today was a hot day (for our climate) and it turned out this place was the warmest of Europe with 28°C (82 F).
To my surprise I was able to drive a stretch of 40.6 km (~25 miles) at an amazing 1.0 L/100km (214 mpg or higher) in normal blended mode but I did only drive at speeds of 50 km/h or less and did not use the AC.

It seems that with high temperatures the current flow out of the batteries a lot more easy. I forgot to insert the SD card so I don't know what the average or highest current was but no DTC.

I still have not attached the hose on the converter yet, but I better not wait any longer if the weather stays like this. Do I have to lead it out of the car or just away from the enclosure.? I also wonder if additional airflow (extra fans) are needed with these temps. In our climate these temperatures usually only last for a week or three to four a year but since it's so early in the season it could get a hot summer.

You need to flow the hose out of the car. And in warmer weather the kit needs more cooling than kit comes with .90 deg F here today I made some mods to air venting of my kit today that turned out to be a failure case temp reached 116 deg F. Ill have to go back to the drawing boards !

I'll fix the hose first thing tomorrow. When you figured out how extra fans should be place please let me know.

I had the car parked in a cool garage before taking off, and parked in the shade before the return trip. I guess I was really lucky today...
