Entune and Android phone contacts transfer - Success!

    Folks,

    I've been stymied by the Evil Entune and just could not transfer any of my Android phone contacts. My phone is a Samsung Galaxy S II GT-I9100 (Asian unlocked model). Got my PiP in late April this year. The phone had the Android Gingerbread (v2.3) operating system. Tonight I upgraded to the firmware Samsung Android Ice Cream Sandwich (v4.0.3) OS. Everything immediately transferred between the phone and Entune. It was wicked-quick too.

    So, IMHO it's the early imperfect interaction between varied and ever-evolving smartphone operating systems and Entune that caused so much angst... and phone OS updates do help, in my case at least.

    Load up Cyanogen 9 and even contact photos will appear.
