[Europe] Prius price announced in Spain

Hi all!

From yesterday we know the equipment versions and prices for Prius 2010 in Spain. Although prices will be not announced officially until June 15th, there was a Toyota presentation in Stockholm for media, where prices were revealed.

In brief, grades and Prices are:

Prius ADVANCE (intermediate level)
Price: 23,500 Euros. Includes a promotion discount of 1,460 Euros. Price without promotion: € 24,960

- VSC + (TRC + BA + EBD + HAC)
- 7 airbags (knee included)
- Head Up Display (HUD) + “Touch Tracerâ€
- Leather steering wheel height and depth adjustable
- Alloy Wheels 17 "(215/45R17)
- Cruise control
- Automatic climate control
- Full SKS
- Radio CD MP3 player with 3.5mm aux
- "SuperLive Sound" amplifier + 8 speaker
- Bluetooth Hands-free
- Windshield wipers with rain sensor
- Adjust driver electric lumbar

Prius ECO (entry level):
Price: 21,700 Euros. Includes a promotion discount of 1,160 Euros. Price without promotion: € 22,860

Same equipment as the Advance, with the following differences:
- 195/65R15 tires
- SKS only for the driver's door.
- No cruise control
- No Bluetooth
- No leather steering wheel
- No "SuperLive Sound" amplifier + 8 speakers (only 6 speakers)

Prius Executive:
Price: 27,050 Euros. Includes a promotion discount of 1,160 Euros. Price without promotion: € 28,210

The same equipment as the Advance plus:

- Leather & heated seats
- LED headlights + automatic connection
- Anti-glare mirror
- Integrated Alarm
- Audio system with 6 CD charger and iPod - USB connection
- Glass front waterproof

Options (not available in all versions):

- Pack NAVI (2,000 €.) : Navigation system HDS410 (touch, 7 ") + MP3 + 10Gb HDD + IPA (for Advance and Executive)
- Pack EcoSolar (900 €) : Sunroof + 195/65R15 tires
- Pack SAFE (1,200 €): adaptive cruise control and pre-collision system (for Advance and Executive)

damm your soo lucky even the Prius ADVANCE is cheaper then our base version...... in euros.

One question though: What is that promotion discount all about anyway?

It's a special offer to make the new Prius more affordable to more people. It's the first time that Toyota Spain does this with the Prius.

Knowing Toyota Caetano (PT importer) as well as I do, the new Prius will be even more expensive than the current 2 gen...

Hmalo, what is the taxation on Prius in Spain? Only VAT or some other taxes? What is the VAT rate?

Here in Slovenia Prius should get only VAT charged which is 20%. No pricing announced yet, but is good to know if they will be fooling us around with exaggerated pricing. That's why I am asking about taxation. So I exactly know how much is taken by tax man and how much by Toyota sales people and we can compare apples to apples and oranges to oranges.

the first pricing was from germany and the netherlands already weeks or even moths ago.

Prices are charged with 16% VAT (already included in the previous list).

In addition, all cars have a registration tax, depending on CO2 emissions. Car with emissions below 120 g/km (like Prius ) don't pay that registration tax

It is quite possible that I missed it. This forum is so huge.

Ok, same here, Prius falls into 0% car tax rate. So only 20% VAT will be applied. :cheer2:
