    Hello,

I have a 2011 Prius with NAV and rear camera. I would like to show my own video source (e.g. smartphone or other computer) on the integrated display.

I have done my research. If found a lot of information for Gen2, but not for Gen3 cars.
I took the MFD unit and checked the viring schematics, and I can see two sources of input:
    - GVIF (unused in my car, seems to be used by the Advanced Parking System)
    - composite video from the rear view camera

Assuming I have an HDMI-to-GVIF converter (recommendations for this?) how would I tell the MFD to switch to the GVIF input? Maybe via AVC-LAN or CAN bus?

    Anyone has experience with that?

If this does not work, maybe I can send the video as composite instead of the rear view camera and convince the MFD that I am always in reverse?

Any suggestion is appreciated! I will post any progress here.
    Thanks!
    Ludovico

Bump for this. I am interested to see if its possible to connect a third party video source. :)
