I really like the Eibach spring I installed. The drop is mild at 1.1" but it makes all the difference in handling & looks. :D

To me that day & road trip would be awesome. I love long road trips. Last year I drove 2250 miles in 46 hours. A few rest stops to shut my eyes was all I needed.

About $230 shipped for a set of the Prius Plus springs. The idea of using F8L's car as a guinea pig is tempting....

LOL! I'm far from being considered a rich kid. :)

I just meant the nature preserves I manage for work.

WOW dooood! Congrats! nice ride and quit whining over your mileage.

Now, get your stereo together, slam the ride - springs, stiffener, bars and 17's or 18's
    and get back the smile!

Sorry it took me forever to post - busy as heck!

I'm only getting 43 in my ride - too much in the POWER mode. Yeah baby!

Hey F8L, so how did your clear bra work out? What did you use and would you recommend anything different? I may be doing a trip up to your neck of the woods and am trying to figure out how to keep the bug debris to a minimum on the fresh paint during the trip back.:noidea:

Congrats F8L on the new ride. The color you chose for your prius clearly displays your impeccable taste :D

I found a vendor that's selling Tein Htechs for $109 shipped. They're on backorder for another week and I wanted to have them in hand before passing on the vendor info. Considering I can install them all myself, that will likely be the best bank for the buck mod to date. The rears are DIY for anyone with basic hand tools and help from a friend.

The stuff I used sorta worked.... until it peeled off mid trip. I think it would qork quite well if you prepped the paint a bit before applying it. My paint had a TON of embedded material in it. It felt like sandpaper when you ran your hand across a panel. I think this along with oil from tire dressing caused the clear protective material to peel prematurely. If I were to do it over again I would wash the front end and even clay bar it if needed to help the tape stick to the paint. If you end up close enough to my area I would be happy to help you prep the front end and you can use the tape I have left over. I have quite a bit.

    Thanks. ;)

Let me know how the spring purchase goes. $109 is dirt cheap!
