Fan position changes

    The fan in my Gen 3 Prius changes from high speed and out the vents to low speed and into the floor. I am pushing the button next to the Mode button that show that you want the fan to operate in high speed but after 6-8 minutes it decided to go to low speed and change from coming out of the vents to sending it to the floor.

    Anyone know if this is factory default or do I have a problem?

    The automatic climate control will dictate the speed of the fan and the mode based on your set temperature and the temperature of the cabin.

    If the "Auto" light is on, that is controlling the system. Press the "auto" button to go to full manual mode.

    you mean to go to full auto mode? Pressing AUTO again doesn't put it into manual mode.
