Some pics for now. She used to like having the dealerships wash the car after it was serviced under warranty before I started detailing cars. So all of the damage was created by them.

Nice. How do you get it to not have hazing like the second picture?

    Thanks!
The second pic shows swirls done by the dealership. Hazing looks a lot different.
The paint is corrected with a DA polisher.

question... how long is the actual cure time?

Fully cured in 30-60 days depending upon the temps.
After 24hrs, it can get wet, and can be washed after a week.

Even though the Opti Coat is not that expensive, correcting the paint to ensure a defect free surface is important.

and that's the opti coat 2... or the original?... from what i've read the opti coat two gives more work time (but same cure times and such?)

interesting about the cure times and such... i'm going to save this data.

btw, know of any places that do this around los angeles? (that you would trust) i'm curious to do it myself. i ask because the wife asked if she can have someone professional do it. (so it doesn't burn up a day of our/my time applying and such... a full wax job took me forever...)

What quantity of this "opti-coat" do you need to cover a Prius and how much does it cost?

    Yes, Opti Coat 2.0
You can contact Tuan at Glossworks. He's highly experienced and I approve of his work.

Paint correction is leveling the defects in the paint like scratches, marring, swirls, and holograms.

The syringe comes with 20ml at$69.99 and if I used about 9ml as I double covered certain areas.
Typically, I will use 6-8ml on my client's cars.

Last pic is like my car. Tint and no wheel covers. Looks 100% better.

That opti coat is the shizzle. Wish you lived by me.
