Finally, Fog Lamps Installed

Finally got the fog lamps installed. Here are some pictures.






Ordered the fog lamp kit from xtralights@hotmail.com for the 3-door Yaris as some had listed in this DIY project. Wrong switch supplied! To get the right switch, I was told by the folks at Xtralights that the right fog lamp kit to order is the one for 4-door Yaris.

See the bottom photo. LH switch on the left is the wrong one that came with the 3-door kit (too large) and RH switch is the correct on. This comes with the 4-door kit.

My issue with Xtralights.com is that they refused to replace the switch despite my reasoning that the only difference between the 3-door and 4-door kit is the switch and the price of both are the same. Could have returned the kit I had and re-order the 4-door one, but.....

Since I was in a hurry to get the correct swtich to make the appointment with my installer, I just agreed to pay $18.00 for the replacment switch. Poor customer service. Will not buy from them again.

Anyway, am pretty happy with the results.

Looks great. Too bad about the switches. I will have to note that in the document I did up. Thanks,
