I have been waiting for my Volvo S60 lease to end so I could get a Prius! I'm going from 16.3 mpg to HEAVEN! I finally picked it up on Thursday 2/14 and love it already! I feel like a teenager trying to do all my mom's errands just so I have an excuse to get behind the wheel! Mine is White with Grey interior, package 5! YAY! Audra

Welcome Audra. I didn't realize that an S60 actually was that bad. The Prius seems to be an excellent green car. I've owned mine for about 3 months now and I am loving it. I just can't keep it clean enough due to the weather. We are having some light rain tonight and a 50% chance of precip. Drive safe and enjoy your high mpg returns. Regards.
I had the 300hp version of the S60. The computer on my car hovered around 17-20 mpg. Audra must have been driving with a lead foot. Lol. Turbo = more air = more gas. Either way, 16 mpg is pretty bad.
LOL!lane: I do have a lead foot, but I had the Turbo AWD S60... I loved it, but it didn't love me or my wallet!!

Hi and Welcome! I am also a former Volvo owner (though I still have two wagons that my kids are driving). Mine was a Cross Country Turbo and I averaged 19 mpg - and that was with conservative driving. Now it's so much fun to see 40+ mpg (cold weather) and I KNOW it will be awesome when the temp is above 50. Filling up the tank for $22 can't do anything but put a smile on your face!!!!!
