I've been lurking around for quite a while wishing, hoping, dreaming, despairing, so I'm not exactly a Newbie anymore. No more of that, though, because I finally was able to sell my car yesterday and get my Prius today! '08 Touring, Pkg. 6, Spectra Blue Mica!

ERoxie, I bought a Prius about 1 month ago. The lease on my SUV (ugh) was ending, and I looked at a few different cars--I wasn't looking at the Prius when I started. After I got my Prius home and we drove in it a bit, my husband said, "Congratulations. You got the perfect car." If your husband hasn't been inside a Prius or seen one close up, that will probably change his mind.

Big congrats! The funny thing with my purchase was my wife convinced me to go look at Hybrids on a Friday. The alternative dealer had pulled A car (non hybrid) off the showroom floor and onto the lot for an early morning Saturday pick up/sale. The only reason I bought the Prius is because my alternative dealer (salesperson) was off on Friday. Otherwise I would have followed through. That'll teach him to take a day off. I love my Prius, and my wife will not let me forget it. :humble: Enjoy your pay raise (saving gas $$$$).
I am! I was down to two pips on the gas gauge so this morning I went to fill up for the first time since getting the Prius. Only $26 (and some change) which is less than half what it cost to fill up my previous car!
