    just to repeat this as previous thread had very bad name.... CR tested Fusion Hybrid, and while testing their main test driver experienced what he thought was brake failure - suddently brake pedal dropped to the floor, car stopped braking, and dash warning lights came up, he thought that he experienced total loss of brakes since brakes did nothing.

    Ford engineers said that brakes went to the failsafe mode and were harder to press.

    Yeah, the behavior seems even worse than what's exhibited on Priuses, yet no recall. :rolleyes::confused:

    How did this not get billboarded all over the news the last 24 hours? All we heard about was the evil Toyota. Not a word about the evil Ford.
