I have a take off from 2005 Prius when I went to a new set of four. The back story, I had a an original tire damaged at 20,000 miles, replaced it with a new matching tire Goodyear Integrity, replaced all tires at 28,000 miles with Kumhos, I saved the one Integrity that was new 8,000 miles ago. It has been sitting in my garage ever since and I keep tripping over it. Come pick it up, Free! The tire has 8,000 miles on it and is in good shape with plenty of tread. I'm going to bump this one more time before I figure how to properly dispose of it. Is there such a thing as tire recycling? My landfill takes them, but I do not know what happens to them after that.
Hmm, too bad I missed this the first time around. I make occasional business trips to Emmitsburg, and I was there when you first posted. I could have swung by there to pick it up. I'll be up there again in September, but I kinda doubt you'd want to wait that long.
