Like it says, free for the taking to anyone who can get to South Orange County, a prius auxiliary battery out of our 2004. It's served us ok, but for long term car storage, we upgraded to a more powerful U.S. battery. The original battery, we've been told, doesn't take kindly to long term storage, so we opted to not take any chances. Any takers, please PM me. It'll be on the trickle charger in the mean time, so it stays nice & fresh. After 2 or 3 months though, if no takers, we'll just take in in for recycling, which seems a shame.

I might have missed a post about it, but what did you replace
    it with?

"my hands and a couple of wrenches" is the wrong answer...

Hey, get your own post darell you horn meister :D . . . oh never mind, I see your piggyback post. Anywho, I replaced ours w/ the same one that the original smug-man used, yellow top Optima. Search optima for a nice install rundown, or if you need the source on where to buy it, along with U.S. battery terminal adapters, go to darell's evnut.com page.
