Fuel Cell on the job in King Country.

"As pollution fills the sky and petroleum grows more precious, the fuel cell is touted as a future energy source. Someday for cars and trucks. Someday to replace the home furnace. Someday in computers and iPods, too.

But the fuel cell is already with us."

Right now I'm glad it's sewage treatment plants. Let's produce electricity and clean water in the process. Let's look at other applications where we can pollute less and produce something useful in the process. It is a step in the right direction. They'll improve the technology, then someone will have a "breakthrough" of some sort and convert what they learned to another application.

Someday it will be cars.

But not yet.
