Furthest distance that Thule roofbars can be installed

    700mm is the distance recommended by Thule (1566 fit kit).
    But has anyone had them further apart? 800mm? 900mm? 1000mm?

    Obviously there is a limitation due to the inconstant roof sill width.

    Any tips? Thoughts?
